We’d love to introduce ourselves to you… we’re Flora, Fauna and Merriweather. Okay so we’ve chosen to retain some bit of anonymity, just so we can maintain our peaceful lives while we stir a little controversy into our morning coffee.
Flora is a 30something mother of two. She loves to read, write, study history and art, keep up on current events and tell everyone what she’s thinking. She’s a stay-at-home mom for the time being but has held a wide array of crazy and not-so-crazy jobs over the years and doesn’t plan to be home with the wee ones forever. She’s passionate about our planet, conservation and going green.
Fauna is committed to creating a better world for her kids because they are her number one love in life! She used to be on the fast track in corporate America, but for the time being she’s at home with the kiddos. She loves to travel and enjoys having fun and being happy! She listens to NPR each day to keep up on current events and definitely has her opinions about human rights, animal rights, the environment, and is excited to voice those opinions here on coffee and controversy!
Merriweather is a people person and is most excited about the advice column! If you have a question for her, send an email to coffeeandcontroversy@gmail.com and you may be in our weekly column. She’s talkative, outgoing and loves the performing arts – singing, dancing and acting. Her greatest passions are her kids, her friends and connecting with people. Gay rights is a very important subject to Merriweather, and her goal is to help create a future where everyone has equal rights and privileges!
